On December 12th, Mall of the South hosted a memorable Christmas party for Resthaven, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing and care for widows, and orphans in need. This initiative reflects Mall of the South’s unwavering commitment to uplifting its less fortunate community members and making a positive impact in the lives of those most vulnerable.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors — Wimpy, Piatto, Pizza Hut, Mug & Bean, Debonairs, Steers, Fishaways, Chicken Licken, and Del Forno — we were able to provide a festive feast for 16 elders, 17 children, their caretakers and volunteers. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness, ensuring everyone felt the warmth of the holiday season.

In addition to the festivities, Mall of the South donated solar panels and an inverter to Resthaven, a significant step toward sustainable energy solutions for the home. Furthermore, Tops gates and security technology graciously donated a new gate motor, enhancing the safety and security of the premises.

The event was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to the power of community collaboration. Mall of the South has been dedicated to giving back throughout the year in partnership with SOJO Helping Hands Foundation. Through various initiatives, the mall has consistently supported those in need, reinforcing its role as a community cornerstone.
